New York, NY – MPress Records is proud to present its annual official MPressFest SXSW party, with newly confirmed headliner Semi Precious Weapons, at The Soho Lounge in Austin, Texas on Saturday, March 17th. This year’s line-up includes: MPress Records flagship artist & Independent Music Award Winner Rachael Sage, who will be debuting tracks from her upcoming 10th album “Haunted By You” slated for release in May 2012; label-mate and Grammy® Nominee Seth Glier; newest signing and six-time Boston Music Award winner Melissa Ferrick, will be performing tracks from her Billboard charting MPress debut; young and rising talent Anthony da Costa will be joined by his Americana-rock band; Lollapalooza alum and virtual one-woman band Julia Easterlin will showcase her unique, multi-layered looping performance style; and Kyler England of The Rescues, will perform songs from her latest album, voted #1 Indie Album of 2011 by Examiner.com. Headlining will be Lady Gaga darlings New York City royalty Semi Precious Weapons with special guest Milla.
 The schedule features artists from MPress Records' compilation series New Arrivals. Launched in 2006, the New Arrivals annual charity compilation series features established and rising indie artists and each benefits a charity - Volume 1 benefited Gulf Coast Hurricane Relief, Volume 2 benefited World Hunger Year, and Volume 3 benefited NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association). New Arrivals Volume 4, released June 2011, benefits The National Network for Youth.
